Step-by-Step Guide
Choose a relevant reward
Use a reward connected to what customers already value: a free item, upgrade, add-on, service, or meaningful benefit. Keep the wording specific.
Check the business cost
Estimate the reward cost against the purchases required to earn it. Consider product margin, redemption volume, staff effort, and any exclusions.
Write clear redemption terms
State what the customer receives, where it can be redeemed, any eligible options, and whether restrictions or expiry apply. Avoid vague wording such as “special reward.”
